Hygiene, Agriculture, and Collaboration. What Does Milan Design Week Leave Behind?
It’s been almost a month since this year’s Milan Design Week, and once again — as with other large-scale events — it confirmed the rule that the most interesting things happen on the margins rather than at the center. What can we take away from a brief, intense event that seems to concentrate an entire year of design discourse? We selected five projects — an exhibition, a book, an installation, and a product — that contributed to deeper discussion and may well stand the test of time.
